  • Eldest daughter of Dr. Prathap C. Reddy is one of the pioneer businesswomen of India in the segment of healthcare industry. A post-graduate from Annamalai University, she joined the Apollo Group in 1989. Currently, apart from overseeing the operations as the MD, she provides policy guidelines for the group's nursing colleges.
  • Under Preetha Reddy's leadership, The Apollo Specialty Hospital has emerged as a major oncology referral centre in Asia, and this hospital is one of the few places with facility to offer bone marrow transplantation. The hospital was first to perform cord blood transplantation in India.
  • Ms Reddy was also largely instrumental in the group's quality certification process (ISO 14001 and 9001). As a trailblazer, she ensured the JCI accreditation process in five of the group hospitals in Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ludhiana and Dhaka.

  • Dr. Anupam Sibal joined Apollo Hospital, New Delhi as a Senior Consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist in 1997 after receiving training in Pediatric Gastroenterology Hepatology at the Institute of Child Health, Birmingham and Birmingham Children's Hospital.

  • n 1987, she joined the newly established SGPGI at Lucknow and was involved in conceptualizing, planning and setting up of the Department of Immunology. This was the first full fledged department of Immunology in the country and the state of the art laboratories that were established provided the complete diagnostic support for all immunology related problems
  • Recognizing the need for trained manpower for running immunology lab services, she organized 6 training course for the "Laboratory Diagnosis of Autoimmune Diseases" at SGPGI. This intense wet lab training has benefited almost all the clinical pathologists in the country who are doing these investigations.
  • Served on many committees of the Indian Medical Research Council (Toxicology Review Panel and Immunology Task force), Department of Biotechnology (Monitoring Committee for Mw studies) an Department of Science and Technology (Fund for Improvement of S&T Infrastructure or FIST, Women's Scientist Scheme). The FIST program funds NAAC accredited Universities and colleges offering PG education for infrastructure upgradation with the broad aim of improving science education.

  • He has been an academician since 1969 and has more than 50 years teaching experience.
  • Has worked at the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Chandigarh, as a Lecturer in Pharmacology and finally becoming a Professor in 1983.
  • In 1984 he moved to the Arabian Gulf University(AGU),Bahrain as the Chairman of Human Function Division and head of the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at its College of Medicine and Medical Sciences.
  • He also chaired the Research and Ethics Committee at Bahrain, and was actively involved in designing, implementing and assessing a problem based community orientated ,integrated curriculum on lines of McMaster University, Hamilton , Canada.
  • The PBL system which was started in 1984 with Dr.Mathur as the Chairman of the committee to draw out the curriculum.
  • Dr Mathur has been involved in teaching and training students leading to the degrees of MBBS/MD/MSc./Ph.D as well as those who took the MRCP/FRCS examination.
